Experiential Communications x Influencer Marketing Manager

AGAR is searching for an Experiential Communications Manager with 5+ years of experience in PR/communications and, most importantly, influencer marketing strategy, execution and reporting, preferably within the CPG and retail industries. The candidate will work with AGAR’s cross-functional teams to build overall influencer brand relations as well as create influencer strategies that map the right influencers and influencer experiences with business goals. The candidate will also work with the client services and marketing teams to execute internal and external marketing, awards submissions, media outreach and digital promotional campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be self-starting, well organized, have a well-established network of content creators, as well as strong writing, presentation, client services and analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Develop tailored strategies and activate campaigns for communications and influencer marketing that effectively reach target audiences and align with business goals.
• Manage Influencer marketing campaigns. Work with clients to define the right approach/write brief for influencers to meet the set objectives. Identify and liaise
with relevant influencers, negotiate fair rates for content, and ensure the relevant agreements are in place.
• Day-to-day management of influencer/content creator assignments, briefings and assessments.
• Establish and maintain regular communication between the brand and influencer partners, actively source, identify and negotiate new influencer partnerships.
• Apply market knowledge to the development of new client ideas, pitches and proposals.
• Develop comprehensive content creator(s) calendar(s) and recommended schedule for posting, sample images, copy, hashtags and preferred platforms to continually drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Work closely with content creators to ensure compliance with brand voice and guidelines.
• Actively keep a pulse on emerging influencers and trends through various social platforms and industry outlets.
• Execute front-line response and increase follower retention, conversion, engagement, and brand loyalty by proactively monitoring and engaging in online communities, which includes but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter.
• Maintain and reconcile budgets.
• Report and track the success and impact according to key performance indicators by analyzing, compiling and presenting metrics and findings. Use data to identify when and how to alter strategy to improve results.
• Compile, write and edit proposals, press releases, marketing materials, awards submissions, content calendars and other duties as assigned.
• Service clients with excellence, providing recommendations and real-time reporting and updates in meetings, emails or conference calls.
• Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Represent AGAR’s vision, mission, guiding principles, and core values.
• Embody AGAR’s quick and nimble way of executing work and knowing when there is a sense of urgency to meet client and project needs.
• Assist in the development, copywriting and organization of new business proposals
• Cross-sell and grow the relationships throughout the office as applicable.
• Stay current with culture and industry trends and changing business processes.
• Participate in and contribute to weekly brainstorm sessions, internal meetings, processes and company-owned events.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• BS/BA in Influencer Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media and/or digital marketing.
• Proven work experience within social media and influencer marketing with 3+ brands
• Certifications in Google AdWords and Analytics and Meta Blueprint preferred
• Familiarity with marketing subscription platforms such as Fohr or Muckrack a plus
• Understanding of digital platforms, content performance and analytics, audiences, paid tactics and digital trends.
• Have an eye towards identifying social media trends and creating new ones.
• Quick learner and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks solutions through researching, outreach and collaboration.
• Must have excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Maintains excellent creative writing and copywriting skills.
• Manage and adhere to project timelines and assignments and deliver items to clients and team in a timely manner.
• Must possess strong computer skills and proficient in Keynote, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google G Suite (proficiency in Apple products preferred). Adobe Suite proficiency is a plus.
